So does anyone know how to do this? Is there a free program or something?

I would like to have something like that my self, but if you want to convert mp3 to wma, microsoft has a package for xp that can do that

When I hit the applications key on the .wma file I have an option that says "convert audio format" Don't know how that got there, but it works.

Also though, I use a program called "Switch" that can convert wma and ogg files to mp3. Good luck.

Um, I use Easy CD-DA Extractor. It's a cracked version of the program, but it works like the paid version. There's an audio file converter in it, so yeah. That's how I do it.

Programs such as goldwave will also do this, but to be honest, unless you have to, I advise against it. Unless you are able to reduce the bitrate in convertion, you wil lose quality in the transcoding. and you have to keep the sample rate the same, otherwise it sounds aweful.

thank all of you. Kev, the reason I want to do this is because for some reason in win amp whenever I play a wma file, win amp has to load it. It's strange I have never heard it do that with mp3's. Princess, where did you get this program?
